You will be safe

  • Proof of full vaccination is required to access the monument for anyone older than 16 years old. The presentation of a health pass is mandatory for young people aged 12 to 15 years old.
  • Please note that facial mask is compulsory.
  • Hydro-alcoholic gel will be at your disposal.

  • Free visit (duration 1h30). Visitor's document given at the entrance to the monument (available in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish). Signage is also present throughout the tour.
  • Game booklet "Alaric in search of the monastery" Discover the life of a future monk barely 8 years old by going through the whole of the royal monastery of Brou. Booklet with games and puzzles for 6-10 year olds and their parents (€ 2 - on request - french only)
  • Visits with audioguides (duration 1h15). Available in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish. Price in addition to the entrance fee: € 3 (single price)
  • Temporary exhibitions: the royal monastery of Brou offers temporary exhibitions several times a year. Consult our news to discover our programming in detail! Access included in the entrance fee to the monument.

  • The entire monument is accessible to people with reduced mobility. An elevator takes you to the 1st level (upper gallery of the rood screen, Margaret of Austria's apartments and museum).
  • The temporary exhibition rooms, on the ground floor, have interior doors with a reduced width (less than 80 cm).
  • Adequate sanitary facilities are located in the 1st cloister.
  • Loan of a wheelchair and folding seats on request at the ticket office.
  • Parking: People with Reduced Mobility and people with great difficulty in getting around can access the ticket office by car through the church square.
  • The administrative building (entertainment rooms and library) has an elevator (80cm wide).
  • In Margaret of Austria's apartments, the mediation devices have been designed with accessibility in mind for visually and hearing impaired audiences.
